Beyond The Now

Beyond the Now is Instant's podcast and content brand. A platform for honest, unfiltered conversations with the operators, founders, and marketers building the world's fastest-growing eCommerce brands. It lives within the Instant brand but has its own visual identity, tone, and presence that sets it apart as a standalone content product.

Our mission

Beyond the Now is built around one idea: the best insights in eCommerce come from the people actually doing the work. Not analysts, not consultants, not trend reports. The founders who scaled from $2M to $12M using AI. The CMOs who built category-defining brands with unconventional playbooks. The operators who were in the room when the decisions that mattered got made.

Each episode goes inside the minds of the people behind today's fastest-growing eCommerce brands, pulling out the strategies, mistakes, and moments that shaped how they think and how they build. The podcast is distributed on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube.

Visual Identity

Beyond the Now uses the Instant brand system as its foundation but applies it with a distinct editorial sensibility that sets it apart from product communications. The palette, typeface, and logo system all remain consistent with the broader Instant brand. What changes is the emphasis on guest photography, episode imagery, and the editorial treatments that give the show its own visual character.

Guest photography is the primary visual element of the show. Every episode cover features the guest prominently, shot in a style that feels editorial and considered rather than corporate or staged. Real people, real faces, real personality. The photography style reflects the authenticity of the conversations themselves.

The Beyond the Now wordmark and logo treatment should always be used consistently across all episode artwork, social graphics, YouTube thumbnails, and promotional materials. Never substitute the show name with the Instant logo alone. The two identities work together but should remain distinct.

Use the container treatment selectively. Not every icon needs it. Reserve it for moments where icons are a primary visual element and the green needs to show up with full energy. When icons are supporting UI elements or sitting alongside dense copy, the standalone treatment is always the cleaner choice.

Sizes

Icons are used at four standard sizes across the Instant system. Always use one of these sizes and never scale icons to arbitrary dimensions.

16px

The smallest UI size. Used for inline labels, input fields, and compact interface components.

24px

The primary UI size. The most commonly used size across product interfaces and marketing layouts.

32px

Used in marketing layouts where icons need more presence alongside larger type.

48px

The largest size. Used for feature highlights, empty states, and hero moments where an icon is a primary visual element.
